Up

Taken up up up,

On the whim of wayward winds.

Carelessly floating.

Down

Pulled downwards harshly.

Taken by a bitter gust.

Thrashed towards firm ground.

Crash

Praying for mercy.

From the apathetic winds.

Words fall on deaf ears.
